Severance Calculator offers severance calculation tools for several countries, currently including Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, and Brazil . Each calculator is based on the current labor legislation of the corresponding country (for example, the Substantive Labor Code in Colombia, or the applicable labor regulations in Costa Rica, Mexico, and Brazil), and the results of each tool are valid only for the country for which it was designed. Before using a calculator, please verify that it corresponds to the country whose legislation you wish to consult.
The information provided when using the Services is not intended for distribution to or use by individuals or entities in jurisdictions or countries where such distribution or use would be contrary to law or regulation, or where registration in such jurisdiction or country is required. Therefore, those who choose to access the Services from other locations do so on their own initiative and are solely responsible for complying with local laws, if applicable.

- Impersonating other users;
- Any unauthorized automated use, including scraping, bots or spiders;
- Unauthorized use for commercial purposes or unfair competition.
6. User-Generated Contributions
The Services do not allow users to submit or post content unless otherwise stated. When you are permitted to create or submit content (“Contributions”), you represent and warrant that:
- You possess the necessary rights over said Contributions;
- You grant us a license to use, store, process and share your Contributions without compensation;
- You retain ownership of your Contributions, being responsible for their content and releasing us from any liability.
7. Contribution License
By submitting suggestions or comments, you grant us permission to use and share your feedback for any purpose, without compensation. We do not claim ownership of your contributions.
8. Service Management
We reserve the right, at our discretion, to:
- Monitor compliance with these Terms;
- Take legal action;
- Limit or eliminate contributions;
- Administer the Services to protect our rights and facilitate their operation.
9. Duration and Termination
These Terms will remain in effect while you use the Services. We reserve the right to deny access or use to anyone, without prior notice or liability.

We may change, modify, or discontinue the Services at any time without prior notice. We do not guarantee continuous availability.
11. Applicable Law
These Legal Terms, regarding the use of the website and the Services in general, are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia, and you accept the exclusive jurisdiction of the Colombian courts for the resolution of any dispute related to these Terms.
This is independent of the specific labor legislation of each country (Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico or Brazil) on which each individual calculator is based: such legal references are for informational purposes only regarding the labor law of each country, and do not imply that the site or these Terms are subject to the jurisdiction of those countries.
12. Conflict Resolution
Informal negotiation: Before initiating any formal proceedings, we will attempt to resolve any dispute amicably by contacting us through the means indicated in the contact section, within a period of 15 days.
Exceptions: Issues related to intellectual property, theft, privacy, or urgent precautionary measures are not subject to this pre-negotiation period and may be brought directly before the competent courts in Colombia.
13. Corrections
We reserve the right to correct errors or update information without prior notice.
14. Legal Notice
The Services are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”. We do not guarantee the accuracy, security, or continuity of the Service. You agree to use the Services at your own risk.
